The AC is an independent non-profit organisation with the goal to promote best practice, raise awareness and standards across the UK Coaching industry. I am an Associate Member and comply with their Code of Ethics. They are a great source of information about coaching publications and what to look for in a good coach.
Founded in 1995, the International Coach Federation is the leading global organisation dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. It is one of the bodies which accredited one of my coaching qualifications.
The Association for Neuro Linguistic Programming is dedicated to making NLP more accessible to the general public. ANLP is Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit organisation which exists for the benefit of the NLP and Coaching Community. I am an NLP Practitioner and a member of this organisation. The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession's regulators, government and others, to offering training and advice, it protects and promote solicitors across England and Wales. I am a non-practicising solicitor and have been a member of the Law Society for 13 years.
The Commerce & Industry Group is an Unincorporated Association formed by in-house solicitors for in-house solicitors. It makes representations to the Law Society, Government Departments and other organisations on issues that affect its members. I am a member of this Group. It’s also a great place for in-house solicitors to meet and network.
I have trained with this organisation and would highly recommend their courses to anyone thinking of training to be a coach or who would like to use coaching in their day-to-day work. The AoEC can also offer advice on choosing the right coach. I am accredited by the AoEC and hold an intermediate diploma in executive coaching from the AoEC.
PPD Learning is one of the world's Leading NLP Training Institutes with over twenty years of expertise in NLP training. The training team is world-class with regular guests Robert Dilts, Judith DeLozier, Charles Faulkner and Joseph O'Connor and the certificates are co-signed by John Grinder himself, the co-developer of NLP. This is where I undertook my NLP Practitioner training and I would recommend them to anyone interested in learning more about NLP. They even offer a one-day taster session!
