legal coaching with Cranston Cognition

Legal matters

As a lawyer, there is always pressure to provide robust technical legal advice whilst still providing effective business solutions. A commercial solicitor for 13 years, 7 of those years working as Head of Legal and Company Secretary with senior management at board level, Kareen has a strong business background and is used to working in organisations focused on performance, productivity and significant change.

As an executive coach and mentor, Kareen acts as an invaluable, experienced, independent sounding board providing a confidential place for lawyers at all levels to clarify their thoughts away from their business lives. This affords them the confidence and encouragement to achieve their targets and put themselves back in charge of their career by helping them to identify and build the right relationships within and outside of the organisation.

I believe that my background and experience in the legal profession coupled with my natural coaching style offers a unique package for achieving greater re:cognition in the legal field.

Mind over matter - lost in thought

Be wary about taking on too many tasks at one given time. When you become overwhelmed with too many tasks it will inhibit your ability to focus, you will become worried and stressed about not meeting expectations and failing on deliverables. Try doing one thing at a time, you will be able to concentrate clearly and work faster and more productively.
